M: Let me see your nose. You have hair in your nose.
L: and boogies
M: What's in my nose
L: Hair and boogies
M: Can I look in your mouth?

Housework=Fun

This picture is of the boys washing the dishes. We had been trapped in the house because of the snow and ice. I had run out of paint and the only "fun" thing we had not done in the house was wash the dishes! How much fun they had!
I seem to only be able to keep up by posting with pictures.

I will tell a neat story. This morning we were taking the ride to school. The same route that we always take. Matthew was very closely paying attention to everything outside. The particular stretch of road we were on was real pretty with lots of trees and snow. Matthew looked out the window and up to the sky. You could see the real blue sky with the very white snow and the dark of the tree trunks. He looks out and says "Wow, what a beautiful, fantastic world we live in!"

I want to try to always remember the feeling of being a child and thinking that about the day.

Not so normal

So, we thought the tests were normal until I retrieved a message from the voicemail saying that L was scheduled for an Endocrinology appointment at Hershey Medical Center.

Huh?

Quickly I got on the phone with the pediatrician to find out what in the "hack "this phone call was about. Clearly there was a mistake because last him and I had spoken we were going to see him quarterly and in the meantime try and beef L up.

Turns out he gave it another thought and decided to just send Hershey a letter and see what they thought. Turns out they think they should see him. . . . .in MAY!

Can I tell you I feel like I am going to be sick everyday until May just thinking about having to wait that long to find out (or not) what in the "hack" is going on in that little body.

Oy!

Snow. . . .finally

But there wasn't even a measurable amount. Not that I am complaining but the kids are.
